Willow Funeral Services, was founded in January 2023 by father and daughter team, Matt and Andi Foster. Matt is an experienced and qualified funeral director who has been in the funeral business for over 10 years. For the past seven years, Matt was manager at Quantock Funeral Services, where he provided an outstanding service to bereaved families across Taunton and Wellington, cementing his reputation as a trusted and reliable funeral director.

Matt holds an NAFD Diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration and previously worked as a crematorium manager. His daughter, Andi, has always wanted to join the family business and actually began her career with him at Quantock. She will shortly be undertaking her NAFD Diploma in Funeral Directing, ensuring that she can also offer up to date and reliable advice to families.

Matt’s ethos of offering a professional and dignified service, with a clear and transparent pricing structure, which he developed whilst at Quantock, will now continue with Willow Funeral Services, providing peace of mind to bereaved families. As a family run business, Matt and Andi have the ability to offer a very personalised and discreet service based on the needs of their clients.

Willow Funeral Services is based on Chip Lane in the former GB Tyres building. Matt and his team of tradespeople have worked around the clock to transform the space into a beautiful, peaceful, high quality funeral home. It has customer parking, a private chapel of rest, family consultation rooms and state of the art facilities to look after your loved ones. Matt really enjoyed the challenge of transforming the old garage into a place where families can feel comfortable and reassured that their individual needs will be met.

Matt and Andi provide a personalised service to families based in Taunton, Wellington and the surrounding villages. Willow Funeral Services is committed to taking care of all the necessary funeral arrangements and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which they believe is paramount to providing consistency and complete continuity of care for their clients.

Willow Funeral Services provide a variety of services and burials, including green and woodland burials, horse drawn funerals and military funerals. They can arrange services in all religious denominations, as well as non-religious services and humanist life celebrations.
